THE CENTER FOR APATHEISM STUDIES

Fighting religious zealotry with indifference

“Imagine telling the playground bully that you don’t care. That’s apatheism.”

Power in Passivism

At our Center, we believe in promoting religious passivity and indifference as the best way to silence the loud voices of extremists. Our mission is committed to six key principles.

Promoting apatheism

Our primary mission is to establish religious passivity as a form of resistance to loud, extremeist voices.

Opposing religious zealotry

We fundamentally oppose all forms of zealotry and zealot demands for exceptional treatment.

Monitoring religious conflicts

Through our network, we keep our “finger on the pulse” of religiously motivated efforts to undermine liberal democracy.

Studying religiously-motivated trends

By studying and publishing rich bodies of data, we aim to be a primary source for issues at the intersection of politics and religion.

Increasing awareness

As a religious educational non-profit, we aim to inform students, the public, and policymakers about aptheism as a religious movement.

Providing support

As we continue to grow our network, we will provide resources and guidance to anyone who shares our apatheistic mission.
